Recovery codes
Save your recovery codes
Each code works once. Use one with your password if you lose your authenticator, or with a reset link if you forget your password. They are shown only now.
Keep them off this computer: print them, or keep them in a password manager.
Password
Forgot your password?
We send a reset link to the email on your account. To use it you also need the code from your authenticator, or one of your recovery codes. An email alone cannot open your home.
Skipped the authenticator when you set up? Then start your sign-in again from your stick's page instead: open it on the stick's own Wi-Fi or cable, then Account.

Step 1 of 2
Lost your authenticator?
Sign in with your password and one of your recovery codes, then add a new authenticator. The old one stops working.
No password and no recovery codes? Open Web sign-in in the V.E.Y.R app on your paired phone for a fresh setup link.
Authenticator
Add your authenticator
From now on you sign in with your password and the 6-digit code the app shows.

Texts
Read and send from your stick's number, sealed end to end.
Your texts on this computer
Texts are sealed on your stick for this browser alone: your home passes them along and cannot read them, and keeps none.
No stick yet. When your V.E.Y.R stick is linked to this home, its texts show here.
- Pick a conversation, or start a new text.
Texts on your phone
The V.E.Y.R SMS app reads and sends your stick's texts on your Android phone, sealed end to end like this page: your home passes them along and cannot read them. Your phone reads your stick's number and never becomes one of its lines. It is its own app, with its own code. Get it on , open it, choose to scan a code, then scan the code this page shows. The code works once, for 30 minutes.
Texting is being finished: we promise it only on a carrier we have verified for texts.
On the phone itself? Open this link on the phone instead. It works once, until .
Phones and computers
Everything that can reach your home as you: your phone and its app, and the browsers you signed in on. Your computers on the VPN are on .
Your phone and the apps
The V.E.Y.R app shows your home, its sticks and your plan once it is paired. Texts on your phone are the V.E.Y.R SMS app's, with its own code on ; your phone's VPN is the V.E.Y.R VPN app's, with its own code on .
Get the app
Get the app only from these pages or the official store. We never send it by text or email.
Pair your phone
Open the app, choose to scan a code, then scan the code this page shows. The code works once, for 30 minutes.
The code is for the V.E.Y.R app: your home, its sticks and your plan. It is coming soon; an early build on your phone already scans it. Your phone's VPN is its own app, V.E.Y.R VPN, with its own code on .
On the phone itself? Open this link on the phone instead. It works once, until .
People and phones
Lost a phone? A sign-out button for phones is coming to this page; until then, write to support and we cut it off.

Sticks
Your V.E.Y.R sticks: their number, their internet, and what they share. Open a stick's own page from here.

Lost a stick? Press Report lost: it is cut off from your home at once and locked, so nobody can add it anywhere until you unlock it.

VPN
Your phones and computers reach the internet through your own sticks, so they are safe on any Wi-Fi, in a cafe, a hotel or an airport.
Each phone and computer leaves through the stick you pick. If that stick is offline or paused, that device's internet waits for it: it never falls back to our servers.
Where your internet leaves
Websites see the internet of the stick your device leaves through, never the Wi-Fi you are on.
Your phones and computers
Automatic uses the first of your sticks that is online and ready. A phone's app can change its choice too: the latest change wins.
Your phone's VPN
The V.E.Y.R VPN app gives your phone the VPN. It is its own app, with its own code. Get it on , open it, choose to scan a code, then scan the code this page shows. The code works once, for 30 minutes.
On the phone itself? Open this link on the phone instead. It works once, until .
This computer
Add this computer and its internet goes through one of your sticks too. You install WireGuard and a profile this page makes.
Add this computer
Your profile is ready
This page forgets the key when you press Done or leave. If you lose the file, revoke this computer and add it again.
Updates
Your sticks and your home keep themselves up to date, signed by V.E.Y.R.
Every update is signed by V.E.Y.R and checked on the stick before it installs. If one goes wrong, the stick puts back what it had.
Your sticks
Each stick checks every day and tells your home every 10 minutes how it stands.
Your home
We keep your home's software current for you. There is nothing to do.
Quiet hours
Pick when your sticks may install an update and restart for a few minutes. The check runs every day either way.

Your own domain (recommended)
Open your veyr at a name of your own, such as console.yourbusiness.com. It becomes your main address, and your current address keeps working.
Your own domain is not available on this home yet.
Your home's owner adds a domain of your own.
Add your authenticator first: adding a domain asks for its code.

Help
Short answers in the order you need them, and who to ask when they are not enough.
1. Getting started
Your stick is the heart of your home: its number sends and receives your texts, and its internet carries your VPN. Keep it plugged in and online.
Then, from : get the app on your phone, pair your phone, add this computer to the VPN, and turn texts on in this browser. Each takes a minute.
walks you through what only this computer and your phone can do: the app on your phone, this computer's VPN and texts in this browser.
2. Signing in and recovery
You sign in with your sign-in name and password, then the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. A password alone never opens your home. If you skipped the authenticator at setup, you have 5 days to add it; after that, signing in asks for it first.
Forgot your password: "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page sends a reset link to your verified email. It still asks for your authenticator code or a recovery code. With no authenticator yet, start your sign-in again from your stick's page instead.
Lost your authenticator: "Lost your authenticator?" on the sign-in page, with your password and one recovery code.
Lost both, and your recovery codes: open Settings, Web sign-in in the V.E.Y.R app on your paired phone for a fresh setup link, or write to support.
3. Your phone and the app
Get the app from , then press Show my pairing code there and scan it with the app. Your phone then shows your home, its sticks and your plan. For texts on your phone, pair the V.E.Y.R SMS app with its own code on the Texts page; for the VPN on your phone, pair the V.E.Y.R VPN app with its own code on the VPN page. Each phone app has its own Revoke under Phones and computers.
Lost a phone: write to support until its sign-out button lands on Phones and computers. Your texts stay on your stick.
4. Texts
Turn texts on in each browser you use: it makes its own key, and your stick seals every text for that key alone. Turn them off by removing the browser on Phones and computers.
Sign-in codes that arrive by text stay hidden until you press Show code.
5. VPN
On , add this computer: install WireGuard, download the profile the page makes, and turn it on. Your phone gets the VPN with the app.
Each phone and computer leaves through one of your sticks: pick which one, or Automatic for the first that is ready. Websites then see that stick's internet, never the Wi-Fi you are on. If that stick is offline, the device's internet waits for it rather than leak; it never uses our servers.
On the VPN, your home answers as home.vpn and each stick by its name, such as shop-stick.vpn. Lost a laptop? Revoke it on VPN.
6. Updates
Updates are required: they keep your stick and your home safe, and they install by themselves. Each one is signed by V.E.Y.R and checked on the stick first; if one goes wrong, the stick puts back what it had.
On you see where each stick stands, press Update now to install a ready update at once, and pick quiet hours if you want updates only at night.
7. Privacy
Your texts live on your stick and your phone. This browser gets them sealed by your stick for its own key; your home passes the sealed boxes along and cannot open them.
A VPN profile's private key is made in this browser and never sent anywhere. Your stick's own page opens straight from your computer over the VPN, so your home never sees it either.
8. Is this really your home?
Your console's address is public, like a street address. That is fine: the address is not a secret, the password and the code are.
Your home's certificate fingerprint. It matches the one in your V.E.Y.R app.
9. Support
Write to us and say which home it is about. We never ask for your password or your codes.
